Student body
The page shows the number of full-time students ("the student body") at the University of Copenhagen from 2014 onwards in the form of two visualisations and two datasets available for download as Excel spreadsheets (see bottom of the page).
The two visualisations are the following:
- The development of the total student body at the University of Copenhagen over time.
- The development of the total student body at each faculty over time.
The population of full-time students is calculated as the number of students enrolled in either a bachelor's or master's programme on 1 October of the given year.
The figures show how many people are enrolled in each full-time study programme at any given time, but do not show anything about student activity.
Students count once for each study programme they are enrolled in.
Visiting students from other universities are not included in the student body, nor are part-time students.
As the codes and names of study programmes change over time, some study programmes will appear similar, thus creating a “shift” in the student body numbers.
In addition, the data consists exclusively of full-time students on regular study programmes.
