Graduates

The page shows the number of graduates at the University of Copenhagen from 2024 onwards in the form of two visualisations and two datasets available for download as Excel spreadsheets (see bottom of page).

The two visualisations are as follows:

  • The development of total graduates at the University of Copenhagen over time.
  • The development of total graduates at each faculty over time.

The report shows the number of bachelor’s and master’s graduates (degrees) at the University of Copenhagen in the years from 2014 onwards.

As of 2020, graduates cover the degrees that are reported to Statistics Denmark as defined in the "Study time model" by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science (UFM). This includes post-reporting, i.e. graduates who were not registered in time for reporting the previous year. Data on graduates can therefore only be calculated around 1 November, when the report to Statistics Denmark is ready.

As the codes and names of study programmes change over time, some study programmes will appear similar, thus creating a “shift” in the graduate numbers.
